New 7-Eleven Giveaway Targets Slurpee Fans

DALLAS -- 7-Eleven Inc. is rewarding Slurpee fans by giving away 58 Xbox One systems in once-daily giveaways from now through Jan. 2. Additionally, 150 instant-win prizes will be awarded each day, including Xbox 360 arcade games, one-month and 12-month Xbox Live Gold memberships, Xbox Digital Promotional gift cards and $200 Visa gift cards.

Customers who purchase a Mountain Dew Game Fuel Citrus Cherry Slurpee or another flavor of Slurpee during the contest period will receive a special code on their cup that they can then enter online at www.slurpee.com to earn Slurpee Rewards points. Those points can then be redeemed to enter the contest, up to five times per day. Two points are required for each entry.

Xbox One winners will be drawn each night at midnight Central Standard Time. Instant-win prizes will be awarded throughout each day.

"7-Eleven is pairing Slurpee, our hottest, coldest drink, with the all-in-one entertainment system this holiday season," said Laura Gordon, vice president of brand innovation. "With more than 150 prizes awarded each day, the chances are good that our Slurpee fans will come away a winner during the contest. That's the kind of game I like to play. And Xbox One, of course."

Only codes entered after Nov. 1 can be put toward the Xbox One sweepstakes and instant-win game. Existing Slurpee Rewards points can be used to redeem new Xbox rewards in the catalog, 7-Eleven noted. Additionally, codes from specially marked "Every Two Minutes" Mountain Dew and Doritos products can be redeemed at www.7-elevenreward.com to enter the Xbox sweepstakes and instant-win game.

The Xbox One is an all-in-one entertainment system that includes an Xbox One, Kinect sensor, Xbox One controller, HDMI Cable and Xbox One Chat Headset. It will be available for purchase from retailers beginning Nov. 22.
