NEW Leadership Summit Set for Orlando in September
ORLANDO, Fla. — More than one thousand emerging, mid-level and senior leaders from across the retail industry are expected to gather in Orlando in late September for the 2016 Leadership Summit of the Network of Executive Women (NEW).
This year's Summit features more than 11 hours of networking and 23 hours of learning, including keynotes by gender expert and author Michael Kimmel and San Antonio Spurs Assistant Coach Becky Hammon, the first full-time female coach in NBA history.
The Summit, which is open to all members of NEW, will take place Sept. 28-30, at the Omni Resort at ChampionsGate in Orlando. Non-members may join NEW at the special Summit rate of $99 per year.
The Chicago-area based organization was founded in 2001 to support female leaders in the retail and consumer goods and services industry. Today, NEW is the industry's largest learning and leadership community, representing 10,000 members, 750 companies, 105 national partners and 20 regions in the United States and Canada.
In the convenience store industry, NEW is a supporting partner and advisory board member of the Convenience Store News Top Women in Convenience awards.
