Nice N Easy to Begin 100-Percent ID Checks for All Age-Restricted Products
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Beginning Monday, Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppes will require customers to show identification for purchases of all age-restricted products, without exception.
The convenience store chain announced today that it will check IDs 100 percent of the time when customers attempt to purchase alcohol, tobacco products and all lotto and lottery items.
"Please have your ID ready," Nice N Easy stated in a blog post on its website.
Acceptable forms of ID include a non-expired state driver's license, passport, military ID or non-driver's license state ID.
Syracuse, N.Y.-based Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppes operates more than 85 convenience stores and gas stations in upstate New York. The 100-percent ID policy is being implemented at its corporate stores only.
