Nice N Easy Celebrates Opening of New Syracuse Location

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppes hosted a grand-opening celebration this past weekend for its newest store, in Syracuse, N.Y.

According to the company, this new build is unlike most of its other locations because the canopy for the fuel pumps is located on the side of the building instead of the front, making the convenience store more visible from the road.

Inside, Nice N Easy's newest location offers fresh produce and flowers, a walk-in beer cave, frozen drinks, Easy Street Coffee and sit-down dining with free Wi-Fi.

Saturday's grand-opening event took place from 10 a.m. to noon and provided food samples from the store's Easy Street Eatery foodservice program, as well as specials on many grocery, snack, beer and soda offerings.

In addition, the store featured a live radio station remote broadcast, and two players from the Syracuse Silver Knights soccer team were on hand to sign autographs. For kids, Spider-Man, Elmo and Cookie Monster made guest appearances.

As part of the grand opening, Nice N Easy is also providing an opportunity for customers to win prizes, including an Apple iPad 2, a 55-inch television, free gas for one year and more. Nice N Easy said it will give away one prize each week throughout this month.

Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppes has 85 locations in New York State.
