Nice N Easy Teams With GroupRed
NEW YORK -- Canastota, N.Y.-based convenience store operator Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppes tapped GroupRed LLC for assistance with its foodservice and corporate branding initiatives.
Under the terms of the engagement agreement, GroupRed, a New York-based retail design and consulting firm, will devise strategies aimed at enabling the 79-unit chain to better differentiate itself from competitors via its proprietary foodservice programs. The firm will also design interior graphics to support a more consistent look from store to store and to strengthen Nice N Easy's corporate brand identity.
Nice N Easy recently unveiled a new 4,600-square-foot store prototype in Tully, N.Y. Unlike the retailer's other units, which average 3,500 square feet, the prototype offers freshly prepared foods, a coffee bar area and spacious aisles.
"The development of this prototype demonstrates that Nice N Easy is an innovator in its market," GroupRed president Joseph Bona said. "These new efforts should enhance its position as an industry leader in the New York region."
