Nisbet Oil Upgrading Sites to Include InOvationTV
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Nisbet Oil Co. is the latest gas station chain to bring the inOvationTV media platform and the Wayne Ovation fuel dispenser to its forecourt.
The inOvationTV media platform is offered jointly by Wayne Fueling Systems and Gas Station TV.
"We really strive to provide a better fueling experience for our customers," said Jimmy White, president of Nisbet Oil. "The program gives us the ability to increase loyalty and store traffic. It is the perfect format to do these things better, and promises even greater benefits for us in the future."
Like many fueling station and convenience store operators, Nisbet Oil is currently formulating plans for the upcoming transition to EMV (Europay, MasterCard and Visa) standards for credit and debit card acceptance.
"In addition to the improved forecourt experience and promotional benefits, the technology included with the inOvationTV media program really helps us 'future-proof' our fueling operations," White said.
Nisbet Oil originally began incorporating the inOvationTV media program into its site plans in April 2012.
"More fuel retailers like Nisbet Oil Co. are adopting the inOvationTV media platform," said Cameron Nokes, product manager, inOvationTV media program, Wayne Fueling Systems. "Because the program includes technology like the Wayne Connect IP-485 network solution and Wayne Fusion gateway, they have the added assurance of knowing their Ovation fuel dispensers are positioned for the transition to EMV and are capable of supporting other payment technologies as they are implemented."
Charlotte-based Nisbet Oil Co.'s retail fueling operations are conducted under the Shell, CITGO, Crown, Mystic and Sun Express banners. The company's primary focus is on its wholesale fuels business, including service to fleet, construction, transportation and power generation customers.
Austin, Texas-based Wayne Fueling Systems is a supplier of fuel dispensers, payment terminals, forecourt control devices, point-of-sale and other measurement and control solutions to the retail and commercial fueling industry. Gas Station TV, a Rockbridge Growth Equity company, is a video network at the pump.
