NOCO Express Completes Acorn Markets Remodel
WAYLAND, N.Y. -- Family-owned and operated NOCO Express celebrated the grand opening of its 34th store, located at 2341 Route 63 in Wayland, N.Y., on June 29. The Tonawanda, N.Y.-based c-store chain purchased the former Acorn Markets location last month and conducted an in-store remodel, as CSNews Online previously reported.
"Our new Wayland store follows the same model as all of our stores in that it's designed to provide the necessary conveniences and essentials for today's on-the-go customers," said Michael F. Newman, NOCO executive vice president. "We are excited to open our first NOCO Express store in Steuben County, which marks the 34th store in our gasoline convenience chain."
The remodel of the 3,000-square-foot store, which took approximately two weeks to complete, features an updated décor and an increased variety of products to meet customers' needs, the company said. The gas station adjacent to the store is also NOCO-branded. The store will employ ten people and includes a Subway location inside.
