NY C-store Owner Arrested Over Alleged Marijuana Possession
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Officers raiding a South Side Self Serve convenience store last week found 47 grams of marijuana on an employee, in a car and in the store, police officials told the Post-Standard.
James Stevens, 51, was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. Store owner Mark Mondo, 50, was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
Mondo told the police he was not aware of any illegal activity in the store, the report stated.
