OSHA Recognizes Valero for Workplace Safety
SAN ANTONIO -- After achieving three years of successful employee safety standards, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Voluntary Protection Program recognized Valero Travel Services for its efforts.
"Valero Travel Services has demonstrated excellence in effective safety and health management," OSHA regional administrator Dean W. McDaniel said in a statement. "Its management and employees’ outstanding efforts include maintaining an injury and illness rate below the national average for the industry."
Valero Travel Services has a staff of 41 people who organize travel services on behalf of Valero Energy Corp. In total, more than 2,000 work sites have been accepted into OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Program nationwide
