Parker's Boosting Its South Carolina Store Count

SAVANNAH, Ga. -- The Parker Cos., operator of 24 Parker's convenience stores in southeast Georgia and South Carolina, will open two new locations in the greater Bluffton, S.C., area. The new fuel and retail service locations will be located at 1286 Fording Island Rd., just east of Tanger Outlet Center 1; and at 2 Gateway Village, in front of The Home Depot, the company reported.

"We're extremely excited about extending farther into Bluffton and Beaufort County," stated Greg Parker, president and CEO of The Parker Cos. "Our goal is to exceed our customers' expectations through our architecture, landscaping and customer service. We are successful because of our people and a total focus on the customer experience. We hope the Bluffton community will continue to embrace the quality that we offer."

Parker's already has two stores in southern Beaufort County. With these new locations, Parker's will bring its Pump Pal program, which allows cardholders to save up to 10 cents per gallon of gas every day, as well as its 1-Cent Wednesdays "Fueling the Community" initiative. On the first Wednesday of every month, Parker's sets aside one cent of every gallon of gas purchased to donate back to community schools.

"We are so happy to have Parker's in the town of Bluffton with its two current locations. It is even more exciting to see that it is expanding its business to two additional locations in the Bluffton area," Bluffton Mayor Lisa Sulka said in a statement. "We welcome the Parker's family and look forward to working with this business in the future."
