TNT Marketing, a national independent convenience store broker, has added seven people to its team of "c-storologists." The team identifies products in stores that will boost profits and provides convenience stores access to those items.

Bethine Domino will join as a regional sales manager for the Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana areas. Previously, Domino was employed by Pacific Seafood Co., where she developed a new retail business and worked directly with clients. She has also served as an account executive and has worked closely with distributors, wholesalers and retailers, giving her experience for the responsibilities of the position at TNT.

Another regional sales manager, Kathy Williams, will join the team and cover the areas of Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee. She comes to the position from Advantage Sales and Marketing, where she spent 15 years working with convenience store customers. She also spent 14 years at Winn-Dixie.

Anita Harper will become the account administrator for TNT Marketing. Harper comes to this position from owning Allied Suncom Food Brokerage, where she managed the company and its 17 grocery, c-store and health and beauty care accounts.

Another account administrator, Nicole Gagnon, will join the team. Gagnon, a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, worked as an assistant conference coordinator for the University Center.

In addition, Monica Giacone will become an account administrator as well. Previously she was the assistant buyer for Brookshire Brothers Grocery and an account manager for Quality Marketing Group.

Maggie Rogers has been hired as TNT Marketing's receptionist, where she will field phone calls, greet visitors and other administrative duties. She comes to the position from the automotive business in California, where she worked in sales and finance.

Emily Spain, a graduate from the Midwestern State University with a degree in marketing, will join the team as a marketing coordinator. She is a member of the American Marketing Association.

In other people news, Petro Plus USA, Inc., a development stage company focusing on the acquisition and development of gas stations and c-stores, has appointed Randy Baker to lead its business development operations. Baker has 27 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, strategy development and implementation for both public and privately held companies.

Baker has worked with AutoNation, Pepsi Cola, Kodak and LASON, over the years, providing integration strategies for more than 1,000 acquisitions. He has also served as the chief administrative officer for a multinational company.

"The appointment of Randy baker provides our company with the additional experience and capabilities that will allow us to achieve the financial targets in our 2006 business plan," said Petro Plus president and CEO David Cohen.

In realty news, NRC Realty Advisors has hired Jeff Pomerantz as the vice president of business development. In this position, he will use his 35 years of executive level experience to expand the company's opportunities in the realty industry in the bankruptcy and divestiture areas.

Most recently, Pomerantz co-founded Chrysalis Special Projects, a consulting group based in Canada. There he directed corporate turnaround efforts, multi-party negotiations and corporate restructuring initiatives. Before that, he served at the chief operating officer for emachinetool.com, where he was involved with fundraising, branding, marketing and business development.

In other people news, Dale Valvo, a former convenience store executive for Dairy Mart, Harken Oil and FINA, has been promoted to CEO of Fantasy Entertainment.

In addition, Carl Annese has joined the company as its chief financial officer. Annese comes to the position from Alcoa Fastening Systems.

Fantasy Entertainment is a manufacturer and provider of entertainment picture booths, with more than 3,000 in the U.S.

In supplier news, Convenience Valet, a division of Mechanical Servants, Inc. has appointed Jim Blosser as its executive vice president of sales. In this position, Blosser will be responsible for all of the company's sales functions. He has been with the company's sales department for nine years, and has more than 29 years of experience in the industry.

Convenience Valet provides small and trial size blister packaging with more than 500 SKUs.
