WEST DES MOINES, Iowa -- Kum & Go, operator of more than 445 stores in 13 states, named Steven E. Zumbach to the company's board of directors. Zumbach is currently a managing partner with the law firm Belin Lamson McCormick Zumbach Flynn, located in Des Moines, Iowa. There he specializes in corporate transactional activities, focusing on mergers, acquisitions and financing transactions for privately held companies.

Zumbach, who is also a certified public accountant, has experience in estate planning focusing on the needs of closely held companies and nonprofit organizations' giving strategies. He also held positions for many charitable organizations in the area, including the chairman of the Greater Des Moines Chamber of Commerce Federation, the Greater Des Moines Committee and the Greater Des Moines Partnership. Zumbach is also the founder of Bravo, a group committed to obtaining permanent funding for local arts and cultural groups.

Most recently, he was one of four business leaders to be inducted into the Iowa Business Hall of Fame, which honors Iowa residents that have made significant contributions to the area.
