Petroleum Equipment Institute Elects New President
ATLANTA -- The president of Clarkson, Mich.-based Oscar W. Larson Co., Bruce F. Larson, was appointed to the position of the 58th president of the Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI), the organization stated.
Larson, a PEI board member for two terms, also served as the group's vice president in 2007 and treasurer. He was elected during PEI's annual convention at the NACS Show 2007, held Nov. 6 to 9 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
"Bruce has been an active advocate for the Petroleum Equipment Institute and its activities for many years and, as such, will make a great president," Robert Renkes, PEI executive vice president, said in a statement. "We look forward to welcoming Bruce to his new position and are convinced that his time as president will provide long-term benefits for PEI and its member companies."
Larson has also served on PEI's Safety Committee, Contract Committee and is a member of the Republic 10-Group.
