Pilot Flying J Joins Truck Driver Appreciation Month Festivities

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Pilot Flying J is joining other travel center operators in recognizing professional drivers during Driver Appreciation Month.

This month, Pilot Flying J travel centers will host special activities and giveaways, including bonus MyRewards points with the purchase of a Philmor, drink coupons and individual store celebrations. 

The company also held 10 days of Facebook giveaways from Sept. 1-10, which included LED televisions to entertainment packages and MyRewards loyalty points.

Pilot Flying J will also unveil enhancements to the MyRewards program during September. The enhancements include:

• Earning one additional point on all diesel fuel fill-ups;
• Earning a penny per dollar spent on qualifying in-store items; and
• Earning from 200 to 2,000 bonus points with the purchase of select items in-store, ranging from citizen band radios to tarp straps and blow guns.

Other retailers like Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores and Denny's have also launched special initiatives for drivers, as CSNews Online previously reported.

Knoxville-based Pilot Flying J operates more than 650 travel centers in North America.
