Pilot Flying J Launches New Dining Options

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Pilot Flying J is giving professional drivers extra options for meals with the addition of its new breakfast bar and soup bar.

"Our hot breakfast and soup bars offer a selection of delicious, hearty meals," said Pilot Flying J Chairman Jimmy Haslam. "Our team worked diligently to provide a range of choices to suit all tastes -- from low-fat, low-sodium oatmeal or low-fat chicken noodle soup for the health-conscious diner to a rich broccoli cheese soup for when you're craving a bowl of satisfying comfort food."

The breakfast bar aims to give customers a "sunny head start" and is open 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. daily, the company said. It features steel-cut whole grain oatmeal; cheesy hash brown casserole with sausage; southwest egg scramble; cinnamon apples; biscuits and gravy with freshly cooked ground sausage; and breakfast pizza.

The soup bar, open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, features chicken noodle soup with fresh herbs; beef and bean chili; loaded potato soup; broccoli cheese soup; and macaroni and cheese.

"Our breakfast and soup bars deliver mouthwatering, gratifying hot meals -- with the quality and convenience customers expect from us," Haslam added. "We invite you to dine with us today."
