Pilot Flying J Maximizing MATS

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Pilot Flying J plans to celebrate professional drivers and offer unique, interactive experiences for them and all attendees at this year's Mid-American Trucking Show, which began yesterday and concludes tomorrow in Louisville, Ky.

"We're excited to attend the MATS expo this year," stated Anne LeZotte, communications manager for Pilot Flying J. "We have a lot of fun activities planned for attendees, and we are looking forward to the opportunity to get their feedback, address any concerns they might have and answer their questions."
Activities at the show include:

  • A 15-minute workout led by Pete Thomas, Pilot Flying J's Health Champion and NBC's "Biggest Loser" Season 2 at-home winner. Thomas will invite drivers to participate in a short session of push-ups and squats every hour on the hour, as he demonstrates how they can still exercise while on the road with minimal equipment.
  • A meet-and-greet with NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Michael Annett. He signed autographs and took pictures on-site yesterday.
  • The Shell Rotella Road Show, a fully customized mobile marketing truck made a pit stop at the Pilot Travel Center located at 819 Buck Creek Road in Simpsonville, Ky., from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today. The Road Show features displays and graphics supporting the Energized Protection campaign. This includes technology displays to assist truckers while on the road, such as iPads, smartphones and helpful apps, as well as the Million Mile Haul of Fame museum.

"We're also excited for the chance to tell drivers about our new time-saving technologies, food and beverage offerings and facility upgrades," LeZotte added.

Drivers will also be able to swipe their MyRewards cards to receive free points, among other gifts.

Pilot Flying J is located at booth number 12256.
