Pilot Flying J Surpasses 650-Store Milestone

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Pilot Flying J hit two milestones in the past week. First it expanded its footprint to 650 locations, then it passed that mark by opening location No. 651.

The Pilot Travel Center in Von Ormy, Texas, opened on Oct. 15 to become No. 650 in the company's portfolio. Today -- a mere seven days later -- a Flying J Travel Plaza in Hudson, Wis., welcomed customers as No. 651.

The Pilot Travel Center in Von Ormy is located off Interstate 35 at exit 140. It offers eight diesel lanes and 16 gasoline lanes with high-speed pumps for quicker refueling as well as a Subway and Cinnabon. The Flying J Travel Plaza in Hudson is located off Interstate 94 at exit 10 along U.S. Highway 65 and offers eight diesel lanes and 12 gasoline lanes with high-speed pumps, according to the company.

Both locations also offer expanded food offerings to include pizza, salads, sandwiches and hotdogs; premium coffee and cappuccino selections; and general merchandise.

All Pilot Flying J locations accept the MyRewards loyalty card, through which members can earn in-store retail and restaurant discounts. The combined network of over 650 Pilot travel centers and Flying J travel plazas across North America serves more than 1.3 million customers daily. The Pilot Flying J network provides customers with access to more than 60,000 parking spaces for trucks, over 4,400 showers and over 4,000 diesel lanes, of which over 2,500 offer DEF at the pump.
