Pilot Travel Centers Chooses Mosaic's Postilion System
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Pilot Travel Centers LLC, the largest interstate travel center operation in the nation, has selected Mosaic's Software Postilion online transaction processing software for its locations across the country. Pilot currently operates a multi-function fuel and foodservice business through a nationwide network of locations.
As part of the agreement, Pilot will use Postilion as a central switch for processing debit- and credit-card transactions from its gas pumps and in-store checkout lanes as well as for verifying checks via positive and negative file databases. Mosaic's eSocket POS will be used for acquiring these transactions from the existing POS systems and fuel pump terminals. Interfaces to various fleet-management programs will also be provided.
