Pump & Pantry Debuts New 'Hometown' Store Design

FREMONT, Neb. -- A new Pump & Pantry convenience store opened here at 341 East 24th St., featuring a new store design and a continuation of the chain's in-store Cinnabon Bakery concept.

The new "hometown" store design is a prototype that the Bosselman Cos., owner and operator of the convenience chain, will utilize for future Pump & Pantry new builds and remodels. The design features Bones, Pump & Pantry's new husky dog mascot who welcomes customers at the main entrance, along with a new blue and yellow exterior color scheme. Inside, customers find a turret that serves as a seating area, as well as upgraded interior features such as hard-surface countertops and modern cherry woodwork.

The Fremont store, which is open daily from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., features Cinnabon products and Bones' BBQ, both made fresh and in-store. This is the 49th Pump & Pantry store for Grand Island, Neb.-based Bosselman Cos.

"We are very excited about being in Fremont with this brand-new Pump & Pantry convenience store," said Bosselman Cos. President Charlie Bosselman. "We look forward to being a part of the Fremont community and offering travelers and locals alike our fantastic hometown experience in customer service and product offerings. Cinnabon, Bones' BBQ and all the traditional convenience store offerings are just a few of the new things Fremont can expect from our well-known Nebraska convenience store chain."

As CSNews Online previously reported, the retailer was the first ever in the convenience industry to make a deal with Cinnabon Inc. and Focus Brands Inc. Under the agreement, full Cinnabon Bakeries are built inside new and existing Pump & Pantry c-stores, offering customers Cinnabon World Famous Cinnamon Rolls and other items by the brand, such as take-home packs, Chillatas blended frozen beverages and Cinnabon Iced Coffee.

Bosselman Cos. recently celebrated the grand opening of its first in-store Cinnabon Bakery at the chain's location at 11108 Sapp Bros. Drive in Omaha, Neb. In addition to the Omaha and Fremont locations, Bosselman Cos. will add the Cinnabon Bakery concept to at least eight more of its stores.

Founded in 1948, Bosselman Cos. is a family organization that has expanded to 23 states and employs more than 1,200 people. The company operates other brands and franchises, including motels, restaurants, food courts and the Nebraska Danger Indoor Professional Football Team.
