At-the-Pump TV Networks Expand Programming

NEW YORK and SANTA MONICA, Calif. -- News, entertainment and National Football League (NFL) fans can now get the latest news at the pump while they're filling up their vehicles. In separate deals, Gas Station TV (GSTV) signed an exclusive deal with Turner Broadcasting System Inc., while Outcast inked a deal with the NFL Network for its PumpTop TV.

Under the GSTV deal, Turner will provide HLN news content and HLN's Showbiz Tonight entertainment content. "Our partnership with Turner extends our industry-leading lineup of content, delivering our 28 million viewers the best experience in gas, and providing our advertisers with the best away-from-home programming environment to showcase their products and services," said David Leider, CEO of GSTV. "We are thrilled that HLN is providing fresh, relevant and custom segments for our viewers."

For football fans, Outcast's PumpTop TV now provides NFL Network game highlights, live matchup information for the network's Thursday Night Football broadcasts and other NFL news. The NFL Network content will be seen on 12,000 screens nationwide.

"Outcast's active consumers lead busy lives and are passionate about football, so they may not be able to catch every game," said Nathan Gill, chief revenue officer for Outcast. "We don't think that should stop them from keeping up with their favorite pastime, so we're excited to work with the NFL Network to keep our massive audience of on-the-goers entertained and informed."
