PumpTop TV Continues Expansion

IRVINE, Calif. -- PumpTop TV, provider of a digital media network located at U.S. fuel forecourts, is progressing its national expansion efforts, and can now be found at more than 750 gas stations in 11 of the largest U.S. media markets, the company stated.

"By the end of the year, PumpTop TV will be in each of the 10 largest U.S. media markets," Roy Reeves, PumpTop TV's vice president of marketing and media, said in a statement. "By late 2009, we plan to be in each of the top 20 markets."

PumpTop TV is a network of more than 7,000 LCD screens mounted at eye level on fuel pumps that display news video from ABC, clips from ABC's "America's Funniest Home Videos" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," clips from GetBack Media, real-time traffic maps from Google, and weather, sports, business, health and entertainment news, according to the company.

PumpTop TV's current markets include New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Dallas, Boston, Houston, Phoenix, Sacramento and San Diego. Expansion in Washington, DC and Atlanta is slated for later this year, the company stated.
