Quick Chek Helps Expand "Stuff the Bus" Food Drive

WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J. -- Quick Chek is helping to expand this year's "Stuff the Bus" campaign against hunger in Sussex County, N.J., the New Jersey Herald reported.

On Nov. 22-23, Sussex County residents will be able to drop off non-perishable food items at any of the eight Quick Chek stores in the county. The donations will replenish the food pantry shelves at the Sussex County Department of Human Services, Division of Social Services.

Quick Chek expanded this year's drive by allowing people to drop off food at all eight of its Sussex County locations during their hours of operation. There are two stores each in Hopatcong and Newton, and one store in Franklin, Lafayette, Stanhope and Sussex, the report said.

Radio personalities from WNNJ and WSUS will be on the air at the locations, where Sussex County Skylands Ride will have buses available so people wishing to help provide food for the needy will be able to "stuff the bus," according to the newspaper.
