QuickChek Rolls Out New Signature Coffee

WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J. — QuickChek Corp. launched its new Reserve Blend coffee on Monday at all 138 stores in New Jersey and New York. The blend is roasted slightly darker than its other brews and will serve as the convenience store chain's signature regular coffee.

To celebrate the new blend, QuickChek is offering any size of coffee purchased between 4 a.m. and 11 a.m. for just 99 cents from now through Oct. 5.

"We have been carefully watching industry trends and customer preferences in our stores and feel this new blend of coffee is best suited to meet our customers' needs and tastes," said QuickChek CEO Dean Durling. "It is made from our proprietary select blend that incorporates only the world's finest beans for a richer, bolder, more flavorable taste."

QuickChek's overall beverage quality and food quality ranked No. 1 in a recent Technomic Inc. survey of the 20 largest c-store brands that offer foodservice, as CSNews Online previously reported.

"We are committed to delivering what the customer wants," Durling added. "Customer tastes and expectations change and we will continue to meet their needs and exceed their expectations, just as we have done since we opened our first store in 1967."

The retailer's coffee is sustainably sourced from areas in Brazil and Colombia that receive funding and assistance to support the environment, local economies and social necessities in the regions where the beans are grown, according to QuickChek. This includes protecting the soil where the coffee is grown, providing low-interest loans to farmers and ensuring better working conditions.
