QuikTrip Celebrates 50 Years with Festival Ticket Giveaway
TULSA, Okla. -- QuikTrip Corp. will give away free tickets to a music festival created to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary.
According to the company’s special festival Web site, tickets to the QT 50th Anniversary Festival are currently available at all Tulsa-area QuikTrip c-store locations.
The concert, held at the River Parks West Festival ground, will begin rocking Sept. 20, at noon. Among the nine bands performing are Leon Russell, Hanson and Crooked X.
The all-age festival will have entertainment choices for kids and adults. The mobile store will be open for business selling QT Kitchens sandwiches, wraps, salads and fruit cups. In addition, they will sell QuikTrip’s Oscar Mayer all beef hot dogs for 50 cents.
Chester Cadieux, the founder of QuikTrip, will be on hand signing copies of his soon-to-be-published book detailing his experiences in starting and growing the organization. Those interested in meeting the founder will find him at the QuikTrip merchandise tent from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
