QuikTrip Wins Crime Commission Award
TULSA, Okla. -- QuikTrip Inc. will receive an award from the Kansas City Metropolitan Crime Commission at its annual law enforcement appreciation luncheon next week.
The convenience chain will be the recipient of The Ilus Davis Award, which is presented to an individual or business that has displayed an extensive willingness to support law enforcement and justice agencies, The Kansas City Star reported.
The Kansas City Metropolitan Crime Commission is a non-profit citizen's organization that benefits everyone in the metropolitan area, not just Kansas City. The group's board of directors consists of volunteer business and civic leaders from the Kansas City metropolitan area with a common goal of fighting crime.
