RaceTrac Completes Installation of PDI Software

ATLANTA  — RaceTrac Petroleum Inc. completed its implementation of PDI’s Enterprise software.

Atlanta-based RaceTrac selected PDI’s financial and retail software suites to automate its accounting, pricing and inventory management processes.

“After a thorough selection process, RaceTrac partnered with PDI due to its stellar customer reputation and its complete product package,” said Jarred Bussert, director of information systems for RaceTrac. “Our primary goal was to improve transparency and create efficiencies between our Store Support Center and retail locations. To date, we’ve seen promising results on both fronts. We are also encouraged by the consistent progress of PDI’s product roadmap that enables us to constantly evolve with our guests.”

According to Temple, Texas-based PDI, RaceTrac began a moderately-paced migration to PDI’s flagship software a few years ago and has seen favorable results since. Over the next year, the company plans to begin incorporating additional PDI products into its operations.

“The completion of this project is a huge milestone for PDI and RaceTrac, and I’m thrilled we reached it together,” said Bo Harvey, vice president of professional services at PDI. “RaceTrac is an industry leader, and it’s exciting to see the efficiencies they’re gaining across the organization as a result of the software’s capabilities and the amazing execution by its top-notch team.”

PDI provides software, hardware and professional services to convenience retailers and wholesale petroleum marketers.
