R.C. Miller Oil Acquired by Lykins Energy

LONDON, Ky. – Lykins Energy Solutions, formerly known as Lykins Oil, purchased Corbin, Ky.-based R.C. Miller Oil Co. Following the acquisition, R.C. Miller will become a division of Lykin Energy Solutions.

"Lykins Energy is proud to have the opportunity to purchase R.C. Miller, and we look forward to taking care of R.C. Miller's customers the same way they have been taken care of for many years," stated Lykins President Jeff Lykins.

All R.C. Miller employees were hired by Lykins and R.C. Miller customers should see little change in the company's operations, according to the announcement. Lykins Energy Solutions will work out of its current bulk plant in London, where the R.C. Miller phone number will be moved.

R.C. Miller Oil Co. was founded in 1957. Mark Richardson took over operation of the family-operated business in 2004 and will continue to work for the company making deliveries.

Lykins Energy Solutions has been in business since 1948 and supplies energy products and services to customers throughout the Midwest and Southeast. It represents the BP, Marathon, ExxonMobil, Shell, Gulf and Clark brands, and sells them to independent gas dealers.
