Red Bull Pumps Up Race at Rebel Oil
HENDERSON, Nev. – Red Bull is working to build excitement for the Red Bull Air Race World Championship by taking over a Rebel Oil Co. convenience store at 10000 S. Eastern Ave. in Henderson, reported McLane Co.
The Red Bull Air Race World Championship will be held Oct. 11-12 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Through Oct. 13, Rebel Oil customers who visit the fuel pump will be greeted by Red Bull Air Race images and an airplane image that hangs from the canopy overhead. Inside the store, a Red Bull cooler with a built-in video screen door will show dramatic footage of the world's fastest motorsport, according to the report. Footage will include pilots navigating an obstacle course of pylons at speeds of up to 230 miles per hour while flying only 50 to 80 feet above the ground.
A miniature mock Red Bull Air Race plane is also featured prominently inside the store.
Founded in 1952, Rebel Oil operates more than 50 c-stores in and around Las Vegas.
