Reed Oil Expands Tech Partnership With ADD Systems
NEW CASTLE, Pa. — Reed Oil Co. selected Advanced Digital Data Inc., aka ADD Systems, as its technology partner for the future for its 10 Last Minit Mart locations in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia.
New Castle-based Reed Oil conducted a multi-month implementation of the ADD Systems cloud solution, consisting of the latest ADD Energy E3 software and ADD eStore with Atlas Business Intelligence. Reed Oil has been an ADD Systems client since 1987.
“We invited numerous companies in to discuss our needs and to present their solutions; none of the other vendors took the approach that ADD Systems did,” said Jason McFerren, Reed Oil’s systems analyst. “ADD Systems came on-site multiple times and reviewed every aspect of our business with many members of our staff. Throughout that process, we learned that there was so much more to the ADD Systems offerings that we could take advantage of. We are really excited to kick off 2016 with the latest ADD Systems software running in our home office and stores.”
ADD Energy E3 is a back-office system equipped with accounts receivable, service management, delivery management, inventory, credit and collections.
ADD eStore is an enterprise software application that supports home-office and back-office operations for the convenience store and gas station industry. It provides comprehensive tracking, analysis and management of sales, purchases and inventory for multi-store operators.
“Reed Oil Co. elected to migrate all of their in-house servers to the ADD Systems cloud offering and utilized nearly our entire suite of products,” said Bruce C. Bott, president of ADD Systems. “It is a diversified company that has multiple business units; that’s where a client can really see how wide and deep our solutions are.”
Flanders, N.J.-based ADD Systems is a provider of software for the petroleum, propane, wholesale, gasoline and convenience store industries.
