Ricker Oil Exec Clowns Around for Fundraiser
INDIANAPOLIS -- Jay Ricker, president of Ricker Oil Co., has brought fun to a fundraising project -- he will dress up like a clown and entertain workers and the public in one of its Indianapolis stores, according to IndyStar.com. Ricker, head of the 700-employee, 49-store chain, will also pass out hot dogs during the lunch hours.
Store officials told IndyStar.com that the ampm store raised more than $12,000 for the Salvation Army last year during the Red Kettle campaign.
