Ricker's Debuts New Flagship Design

CARMEL, Ind. — Ricker's Oil Co. is looking toward the future with its latest convenience store in Indiana.

The retailer opened a new Ricker's convenience store in the Bridgewater Development in Carmel. According to the company, this location will pave the way for future Ricker's stores as it features a variety of options not commonly expected at convenience stores.

"This store will serve as the flagship for the Ricker's brand," said Ricker's President and CEO Quinn Ricker. "Quality food and drink offerings in convenience stores are the future of our industry."

In addition to a new aesthetic, the store features fresh "bean-to-cup" gourmet coffee, cappuccino, iced coffee and frappés along with flavored syrups and creamers. All machines employ reverse-osmosis water filtration. The c-store also carries a selection of beer and wine priced lower than most liquor stores.

The Carmel store is home to Ricker's own brand of fast and fresh Mexican cuisine.

"We are proud to offer such a fresh, high-quality and affordable product that is also unique to the Ricker's brand," Quinn Ricker said. "We prepare all food items fresh, in-store and made to order. Kiosks are in place to allow each order to be customized to the individual's liking."

Additionally, the new store is only the second to carry Ricker's own brand of frozen yogurt. The product is already offered at the Ricker's store at 7788 SR 13 near Pendleton, Ind.

In the forecourt, this flagship store provides Lucas Oil additives in premium and diesel fuels to increase power and fuel mileage and lower exhaust emissions.

Headquartered in Anderson, Ind., Ricker Oil Co. owns and operates more than 50 convenience stores. Its next new store is planned for the intersection of River Road and 146th Street, also in Carmel.
