Road Ranger Simplifies Alcohol Purchases With Fintech

ROCKFORD, Ill. — Road Ranger expanded its usage of Fintech technology by rolling it out to 66 additional locations in December.

Tampa, Fla.-based Fintech provides convenience stores with an electronic payment and data solution for alcohol purchases. C-stores that use Fintech no longer need to use checks, cash or money orders to pay for alcohol deliveries. Fintech is available for use in all 50 states and now works with more than 2,300 alcohol distributors to serve over 325,000 relationships nationwide. 

In total, Fintech added more than 5,100 new customer relationships and onboarded 27 new alcohol distributors in December, according to a company announcement.

This year, Fintech plans to continue to simplify alcohol purchases for its customers through new route accounting software and back-office integrations, as well as "exciting business partnerships with organizations throughout the country," the company reported.

Rockford-based Road Ranger operates truck stops and travel centers in six states.
