Roo Cup Makes One-Week Return

CARY, N.C. — Kangaroo Express, a division of Cary-based The Pantry Inc., invites consumers to "take back summer" by bringing their 2014 Roo Cup to any of its convenience stores and enjoying unlimited 25-cent refills on frozen beverages and fountain drinks.

This promotion runs from Monday, Dec. 15 through Sunday, Dec. 21.

Customers who bring in Roo Cups from previous years will still receive 99-cent refills, the retailer said.

The collectible Roo Cup retails for $6.99 plus tax and normally lets customers refill it with any frozen or fountain drink for 25 cents during the summer months.

The temporary return of Roo Cup refills is available at all 1,512 Kangaroo Express stores.
