To date, RBG has given 10 scholarships to children of its members. Last year’s winners include Christopher Butler, a freshman at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Butler's father, Bruce Butler, owns Bridgeport Ave. Shell in Shelton, Conn. Another scholarship recipient was Shayan Khan, a freshman at the University of Illinois at Chicago, whose father, Rasheed Khan, owns River Shell in McHenry, Ill.
