Royal Buying Group Presents Vendor Service Award Winners
HINSDALE, Ill. -- Royal Buying Group Inc. presented its Vendor of the Year award to Wrigley Sales Co. customer business manager, Don Burns.
According to Michael Zielinski, RBG president & CEO, "RBG and Wrigley's have aligned processes to provide complete category management as an integral part of both company’s business strategies. Wrigley's has done an exceptional job promoting secondary product placement in Royal Buying Group’s locations, and has offered exclusive programs for the c-store channel."
RBG's Wholesale Distributor of the Year award was presented to H.T. Hackney director of sales Tommy R. Thomas. According to Christine Brown, RBG’s director of vendors, "H. T. Hackney has dedicated itself to providing Royal Buying Group with necessary velocity data needed to maximize our membership’s profitability and participation."
The Direct Store Delivered Vendor of the Year award was presented to Frito-Lay’s account manager, Chris Hart. According to Rob Razowsky, RBG executive board member, "Frito-Lay strengthened their relations with the independent retailer by providing monthly promotions throughout 2003, and continues to grow the RBG snack category in 2004."
