Royal Farms Begins Recruiting for First N.J. Stores

BALTIMORE, Md. — Royal Farms is hiring for its first convenience stores in the Garden State, reported NJ.com.  The company has listed ten open positions for one of the first five stores it will open in New Jersey.

The c-store chain is looking to fill positions including shift leader, fuel attendant, beverage host, foodservice leader and customer service associate at its Magnolia, N.J. store, located at 340 East Evasham Ave.

Four other Royal Farms stores are currently under construction in East Greenwich Township, Gloucester City, Marlton and Bellmawr, N.J. The company has not announced an opening date for any of these c-stores.

Royal Farms received approval to build a 5,400-square-foot Magnolia store in July 2016, at which time it signaled its intention to grow into New Jersey, as CSNews Online reported.

Each of Royal Farms' New Jersey stores will employ approximately 50 people, 70 percent of whom will be full time, company officials previously stated.

All of the under-construction stores are located near existing Wawa c-stores. A Royal Farms spokeswoman stated earlier this year, "We think there is room for healthy competition," according to the report.

Baltimore-based Royal Farms operates 178 c-stores in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Virginia
