Rutter’s Adds New Seafood Menu Item in Time for Lent

YORK, Pa. -- Just in time for the Lenten season, Rutter’s Farm Stores added another seafood option to its foodservice menu. The convenience store retailer also introduced a new pretzel snack item.

Crab Cake Sliders are Maryland-style crab cakes fried to perfection that can be ordered in quantities of one, three, six or 12 at a time. Each crab cake order can also be mixed and matched with Rutter's other slider options, which include chicken, meatball and burger sliders.

Customers can top their sliders with cheddar cheese, tartar sauce and Old Bay seasoning.

Rutter’s also added soft pretzel bites to its menu as a new snack option. The pretzel bites come 10 to an order and can be customized by customers by adding salt, garlic, cinnamon sugar or Old Bay seasoning. Marinara sauce, nacho cheese and Nutella are available for dipping as well.

Rutter’s is recognized in the convenience store industry as a leader in foodservice innovation, having won several awards in Convenience Store News' annual Foodservice Innovators Awards program.
