Rutter's Enhances Loyalty Program
YORK, Pa. -- Rutter's Farm Stores is trying to give its customers something new to cheer about. The convenience store chain said it will give customers a four-cent gas discount just for swiping their Rutter's Rewards card at the pump.
Although gas discounts via loyalty programs are not uncommon in the c-store industry, Rutter's noted its new marketing program is much different because customers will still have the ability to earn additional cents-off-per-gallon rewards with in-store purchases.
"Customers will still have the ability to earn cents-off-per-gallon discounts, up to the price of a gallon of gas, by making qualifying in-store purchases," the company said in a news release. "Customers can choose to redeem the balance on their card, or keep the balance and accept the instant four-cent discount by following the prompts at the pump."
The new loyalty program enhancement begins today. "We have been working hard to make sure the Rutter's Rewards program is the best in the business and gives our customers everything they've asked for. We hope you love the changes, and we can't wait to hear from you," Rutter's said in a statement directed at its customers.
York, Pa.-based Rutter's Farm Stores is a third-generation, family-owned business that operates 57 c-stores in six central Pennsylvania counties.
