Rutter's Expands Coffee Menu

YORK, Pa. -- Rutter's Farm Stores completed the roll-out of a new coffee program at each of its 51 convenience stores in York, Adams, Cumberland, Franklin and Lancaster, Pa. counties.

"Rutter's slogan is 'Why go anywhere else?,' and with the introduction of our new specialty coffees and condiments, our customers certainly can satisfy all of their coffee desires," said Brian Matlock, vice president of food service and an experienced coffee roaster at Rutter's.

Classic and Decaffeinated -- holdovers from Rutter's traditional coffee program -- have been complemented by four new specialty flavors: Premium House, Dark Roast, Vanilla Hazelnut, and High Voltage, (with 50 percent more caffeine).

Rutter's also expanded its menu of specialty coffee condiments, including Italian flavored syrups; Ghirardelli chocolate, white chocolate and caramel sauces; chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg powders; and whipped cream. The chain also added new cappuccino and hot chocolate flavors.

Rutter's Farm Stores is part of the family-owned and third generation-managed Rutter's companies, which also include Rutter's Dairy and M&G Realty, a real-estate holding company. The companies employ more than 1,000 people in central Pennsylvania.
