Sheetz to Give Away Tanker Full of Gas
ALTOONA, Pa. -- Sheetz will award an entire tanker of Sheetz gasoline to a customer who uses a MasterCard at participating Sheetz stores between Nov. 16 and Dec. 28.
Sheetz customers across Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and North Carolina who use any MasterCard at participating Sheetz stores will automatically be entered to win a tanker full of gasoline. The more customers use a MasterCard at Sheetz, the more chances they have to win.
"This is the most exciting promotion Sheetz has ever had," said Louie Sheetz, executive vice president of marketing at Sheetz. "Some lucky customer is going to win a tanker truck full of gas. That's 8,000 gallons of gas. For the average person who uses 465 gallons of gas a year, it's like getting 17 years worth of gasoline."
Customers can also sign up for the new Sheetz MasterCard to save even more with cash back rewards on every purchase. Earlier in 2005, Sheetz installed MasterCard PayPass system-wide. MasterCard PayPass cardholders simply tap a PayPass-enabled MasterCard on specially-equipped terminals that utilize a radio frequency chip to complete transactions.
