Sheetz Improves Execution and Communication at Store-level
ALTOONA, Pa. -- Sheetz, based here, experienced significant benefits from implementing RedPrairie's Execution Management solution at its more than 365 stores, the company reported.
"With Execution Management, our original intent was to provide our store management team with targeted operations based communications," Jim Wenner, Sheetz vice president of Information Technology, said in a released statement. "Now, the solution has been adopted by all departments to improve our communication and execution at store level."
Sheetz now has a 'one source' tool to send all actionable communications to the right stores at the appropriate time, with the added ability to escalate issues to corporate management.
"RedPrairie's solution has helped our managers to better prioritize and delegate responsibilities, giving them more time to focus on driving sales and improving customer service," said Steve Winegardner, programming services manager at Sheetz. "In addition to improving execution at the store level, it allows corporate to track completion compliance and manage the exceptions, which is critical when there is a product recall. We hope to use the system in the future to help determine and direct best practices among store employees -- and improve workforce efficiency across the board."
