Sheetz Looks to Expand Relationship with Kronos
ALTOONA, Pa. -- Sheetz Inc. renewed its contract with Kronos Inc. after the software company acquired Deploy Solutions last October, manager of human resources administration for the Altoona, Pa.-based retailer Susan Schwaderer told CSNews Online.
"After a period of negotiation, we renewed and have an ongoing relationship, but this is the same platform we rolled out in May, 2007," she said. "It has been very successful."
With 350 locations, Schwaderer told CSNews Online that Sheetz is currently in talks with Kronos over the implementation of its Scheduling Solutions software. "We’re figuring how best to implement," she said. "We may have it in some pilot stores by the end of 2008 and completely rolled out by 2009 at all locations."
In a released statement, Aron Ain, Kronos chief executive officer, commented on existing successful partnerships as well as third quarter earnings which resulted in a before-tax spike of 35 percent.
