Short Stop Undertakes Major Forecourt Renovation
CLAY CENTER, Kan. — Leiszler Oil Co. is taking on a major forecourt renovation that includes adding Wayne Ovation fuel dispensers to its Short Stop convenience stores in central and northeastern Kansas. These units will be equipped with the inOvationTV media platform.
The forecourt media platform is offered jointly by Wayne Fueling Systems and Gas Station TV (GSTV).
"The inOvationTV media platform provides us with tremendous added value," stated Leiszler Oil Executive Vice President Alison Leiszler Bridges. "The promotional ads that GSTV produces for us every month will help us reduce our investment in pumptopper and other forecourt promotional materials, and the program will actually pay for itself over time."
Leiszler Oil decided to upgrade its sites in order to address evolving technology needs, among other factors.
"Adopting the latest technology for our sites is important to us, and the inOvationTV media program includes a number of technology upgrades such as the Wayne Connect IP-485 wireless solution and Wayne Fusion gateway PC that help us prepare for the future," Bridges said. "Plus, the program is backed by a six-year warranty."
Ovation fuel dispensers are EMV communications-ready and capable of supporting near-field communication solutions as the payment technologies are implemented.
"We're very pleased to welcome Leiszler Oil Co. and Short Stop to the inOvationTV media network," stated GSTV CEO David Leider. "This will allow their businesses to help provide an enhanced fueling experience for their customers, increase store traffic, and deliver incremental viewers in key Kansas metro areas."
Leiszler Oil owns and operates 16 c-stores, plus 27 branded and unbranded dealer sites. The retailer plans to expand through strategic acquisitions and new construction.
