SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — Stewart's Shops has added cold brew coffee to all its convenience stores. The unsweetened coffee option is available made to order at the counter in two sizes or as a 20-ounce Refresher.
To create cold brew coffee, the grounds are steeped in cold or room-temperature water for 12 hours to create a smooth, well-balanced flavor that is less acidic than traditionally brewed coffee.
Multiple c-store chains have begun to offer cold brew coffee. Sheetz added it to all its stores starting Sept. 29, National Coffee Day, as CSNews Online previously reported.
Saratoga Springs-based Stewart's Shops operates 335 convenience stores in upstate New York and southern Vermont.
