STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Uni-Marts Inc. is expanding its Choice Cigarette Discount Outlet concept -- now at 67 units -- through conversions of under-performing convenience stores and identifying new locations.
Choice stores offer discount prices on cigarettes, cigars, chewing tobacco, snuff, lighters, lottery tickets, soda and snacks. A new line of humidors, at a range of prices, was recently introduced. The company declined further comment.
Every customer is offered a free cup of coffee, according to the Uni-Marts Web site. Most Choice stores are located near a Uni-Mart location. The State College, Pa.-based chain operates 336 c-stores in Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia.
