Stripes Introduces the 'Champion of All Tacos'

DALLAS — In honor of National Taco Day, Stripes Convenience Stores' Laredo Taco Co. has launched "the champion" of all tacos. The limited-time offer EL CAMPEÓN is filled with egg, chorizo, potato, bean and cheese.

For one day only, all day on Oct. 4, Stripes customers will have the opportunity to buy one EL CAMPEÓN and get one free.

To celebrate the launch of the El CAMPEÓN taco, Laredo Taco Co. fans will be able to nominate a local community champion — a hometown hero — on the Stripes Facebook page for the chance to win a $250 Stripes gift card. Eight winners will be selected at random, no purchase necessary, and announced Oct. 14.

Stripes Convenience Stores operate more than 700 convenience stores in Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma. Restaurant service is available at more than 450 locations, primarily under the retailer's proprietary Laredo Taco Co. brand.
