Summer Sandwich Tradition Returns to Wawa

WAWA, Pa. — For some, summer means no school, road trips and long days at the beach. For Wawa customers, it also means the return of Hoagiefest.

Hoagiefest 2017 kicked off at the retailer's convenience stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware and Virginia on June 19. As part of the promotion, customers can buy any classic hoagie for $4.99 for limited time, according to Wawa.

Hoagiefest options include:

• Hot hoagies and sandwiches like Roasted Chicken, Meatball and Philly Style Cheesesteak.
• Cold hoagies and sandwiches like Italian and Turkey Veggie Ranch.
• Breakfast hoagies like Applewood Smoked Bacon, Cheesesteak and Sausage.

The deal also includes brisket and flatbread offerings in select stores.

Pennsylvania-based Wawa operates more than 750 convenience stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Florida.
