Sunoco Appoints New Controller
PHILADELPHIA -- Sunoco Logistics Partners L.P. appointed Michael D. Galtman to the role of corporate controller and chief accounting officer. Galtman, who joined the company in 2005 as assistant controller, most recently served as manager of financial planning and analysis, the company stated.
"I am pleased that Mike has accepted this position," Neal E. Murphy, vice president and chief financial officer, said in a statement. "He brings a combination of strong accounting and financial reporting experience and considerable knowledge of our business operations to the controller position. I fully expect Mike to smoothly transition into his new role."
Prior to joining Sunoco Logistics, Galtman worked at MBNA Corp. as a manager of SEC reporting. He also spent time in public accounting, working for Arthur Anderson and Deloitte and Touche, according to the company.
