SymphonyIRI Announces Most Successful Packaged Food Brands of 2010
CHICAGO -- Market research group SymphonyIRI released its annual New Product Pacesetters report that lists the most successful food and beverage and non-foods consumer packaged goods brands of 2010.
The most successful products were those centered on home-based eating and its rituals, according to the report, which also noted accelerated innovation around breakfast solutions and salty snacks, as well as strength in the juices, milks and waters, and coffee and tea beverage segments.
According to the report, of the new product pacesetters, the top 10 food and beverage brands of 2010 were (in millions):
