Tedeschi Food Shops Opens 190th Location

ROCKLAND, Mass. --Tedeschi Food Shops Inc. opened its 190th location in the town of Fall River, Mass., near State Highway 24.

The new convenience store location is the company's fourth store. To mark the event, the company plans to have a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday, Feb. 26, at noon.

"We have proudly served the Fall River community for more than 30 years, and are pleased to be able to continue that legacy with the addition of our fourth store in the area," said Peter Tedeschi, president and CEO, Tedeschi Food Shops.

The new store offers Tedeschi Fuel and a wide assortment of snacks, beverages and fresh food items, like the TD's Deli Express lines of premium sandwiches, wraps and freshly made salads. The store also will offer Dunkin' Donuts coffee in a variety of flavors.

As a part of the celebration, Tedeschi Food Shops will be making a donation to the City of Fall River's Boys & Girls Club, which provides needy children with food and clothing, mentoring, a homework club, stay-in-school programs and recreational activities in a safe environment.

"The Boys & Girls Club of Fall River is a remarkable organization that contributes a great deal to the greater Fall River area. We're very happy to support their efforts and we thank them for all that they do for the citizens of Fall River," Tedeschi said.
